IThis face wash kicks soap to the curb. Just a dab, let it chill on your face for a couple minutes, and boom — oil, gunk, and regrets from last night, gone. Cooling, clean, and oddly satisfying. My face has never felt this smug.
Was looking for a face wash that didn't leave an oily residue or leave me feeling like I took sandpaper to my face. Took a chance on Blackwood for Men Cooling Clay Facial Wash and was rewarded. I've been using it for the last two weeks and I apply this every morning in the shower and it let it sit a good 2-3 minutes. The cooling sensation kicks in and the refreshing tingle gets me going like my first cup of coffee! To be honest, I'm not sure how clean my face is, but it does feel clean. No dry white flakes or "stretched skin" feeling from excessive chemical agents. Would totally recommend as a morning facial scrub/cleanse, and will give some of Blackwood's other products a try now also!
I love using this clay face wash, it’s got a cooling and soothing quality about it, feels creamy but doesn’t leave any greasy residue. I like how it’s all-natural and leaves out many of the synthetic ingredients that are often found in other face washes. Also even though it’s clay-based, it’s not overly drying and can be used daily. I’ve also used it as a 5 minute mask and really like how deep cleaned my skin is after that. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a good quality clay-based cleanser.
One thing to look for in deciding on clay facial washes is how it reacts to your face. Does it feel rough sandpaper like and leaves your skin feeling raw and red after application? When i used this product i was surprised by how gentle and cool it left my face. Blackwood for Mens cooling clay wash has a cooling affect to the skin. Really leaves your face feeling deeply clean and smooth and not too rough!
I like that this is a fine particle face wash. It cleans and exfoliates w/o much skin damage.
